Dear Parents,

We are off to a fantastic start to this 2007-2008 school year. Your children are amazing! We are already learning so much together and I get so excited when I think about the amazing potential of this class and the things we are going to be able to do this year. I wake up so happy each morning to be able to spend the day with these little people.

I would like to remind you of the parent informational meeting next week (Tuesday the 28th at 6:30 until about 7:45) and find out how many of you are going to be able to come. During this meeting we will discuss how our class works, curriculum, homework, field trips, student expectations, what you can do to help, and many other things. I like to have this meeting a couple of weeks into school so that you can be familiar with our routine and ask any questions you might have. If you have any questions before then, please don’t hesitate to call me at (480) 216-5784.

Please return the bottom of this letter with your child tomorrow (or e-mail me if you are reading this on the website), indicating whether you will be able to attend.

Also, if your child wants to participate in any music program outside of our regular music classes (choir, piano, strings, band, etc.) and did not attend the music meeting last Thursday, there is a music meeting tomorrow night, Aug. 21, at 7pm (mandatory for all who want to participate) in the multi-purpose room. Again, feel free to call with any questions.
